Joe Henderson - I hope still making music who can forget Lush Life & Porgy and Bess
Freddie Hubbard - Ever since I heard Headhunters & other early 70s records
Thelonius Monk - Since reading Jazz Anecdotes from the New York years
Jan Garbarek - I am embarrased to admit that I cried through one of his London concerts
Abdulah Ibrahim - I had the good fortune to see this amazing piano act in London
Keith Jarrett - Another one I saw in London but less good on records
Dexter Gordon - I am only now discovering Dexter's beautiful music
Bill Evans - You can see I like Piano and Sax
